Chief Information Officer with more than 30 years in technology, from hands-on engineering at Oracle to executive leadership. At Trilogy Care I lead technology, data, cybersecurity and AI for a national home care provider. I grew the technology team from 12 to 43 people (including indirect reports), built the platform that delivered Support at Home, and wrote TC Assistant: a human-centred way for the whole workforce to work with AI, combining the power of a secure data lake with LLMs and agents.
My career spans enterprise architecture, integration and data platforms in government and commercial settings. Highlights include Suncorp's PeopleHub, bringing Suncorp, Vero, Asteron, Promina, AAMI and GIO onto one HR and payroll platform, Queensland's Legal Practitioner Portal and Courts API, the Crime and Corruption Commission's intelligence data migration, procurement automation for MPC Kinetic, the Bank of Queensland integration, and Oracle Web ADI, still used worldwide more than 20 years on. For fifteen years I ran my own consultancies, omniEffect and Next Data, advising and delivering for clients across banking, government, utilities, media and public safety, and sold a software business. I hold a US patent for a data management system, and Gartner named my integration platform a Cool Vendor in 2015. I turn strategy into working platforms, and I still build.
