- Try the fix
- When the low end cancels, press Polarity flip or Cut in Live. WaveBands measures the low-end sum, makes the change (a -4 dB bell on an EQ Eight before WaveBands, through the link), measures again, and lets you keep it or put it back.
- Is the bass attenuating the kick?
- A low-end meter below 150 Hz shows the correlation between the two and what actually happens when they play together: +3 dB stacking in phase, 0 dB independent, negative means they are cancelling. It tells you in plain words.
- Goniometer and correlation
- Vectorscope with a phosphor trail, L/R level meters, and correlation meters for L against R and for your track against the reference.
- Loudness and peaks
- EBU R128 momentary, short-term and integrated with maxima, loudness range, PLR / PSR, BS.1770 true peak with headroom, clip counter, dBFS or K-system RMS, a 60 s loudness history.
- Streaming targets
- Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Amazon, Tidal, Deezer, SoundCloud, EBU R128, ATSC A/85, Netflix. Shows how far you are from target and flags true-peak overs.
- Key
- Press Detect. It listens for 5 to 20 seconds and tells you the key, the Camelot code, the relative key and how confident it is, with a live chroma display.
- Depth and competition
- Reads brightness, attack, width and air to place a track front-to-back, and ranks the zones where it fights the reference. Click a zone to cut it.
